The classic electric bicycle
Designed by the Italian firm Pininfarina, the E Solex stands out from our other products because of its classic, vintage and totally urban design.
Allow yourself to be charmed by the E Solex's unique charms and the pure pleasure of riding it on a sunny day. The E Solex is in a class by itself thanks to its beautiful Italian design.
It is more than a style and a legend; the E Solex is an energy-efficient way to travel. Combining an environmentally friendly motor system and innovative design is not a simple task, let alone giving it the retro appeal as a nod to its gas-powered predecessor. Creating an electric bicycle involves excellent design and innovation.
A limited edition of 300 units will be sold first in North America. This version has a new crystal console and a unique identification.
Equipped with a powerful 500-watt motor, a 13.2-amp 48-volt lithium-ion battery, this environmentally friendly bike has all the answers you need in terms of performance. The battery is made with cells from Sony, connected to a BMS system that constantly balances the cells to ensure their longevity. This technology is called the "Smart Solex BMS". The battery is also removable, which makes it easy to carry and recharge directly on the bike.
The high-efficiency brushless motor is mounted in the center of the rear wheel and is equipped with a 17-inch aluminum rim and a retro tire to provide a powerful push. The front and rear disk brakes provide excellent braking power.
As a nod to its gas-powered predecessor, a "baletto" (basket) is mounted on the front forks. It has a key lock and supports the front light.
The elegant saddle is built with adjustable suspension and provides added comfort in addition to the front shock absorbers. A front-mounted 15-watt light and a rear-mounted 5-watt light increase visibility and ensure your safety during your outings.
The bike is easy to use because it only has one gear and an acceleration throttle. You will be just as comfortable riding on city streets or bike paths: they are there for you to conquer!
From 1946 to 1988, over eight million Solexes were sold in over 70 countries. Due to successive acquisitions, production was stopped in 1988.
For several years now, the electric version has been available in more than ten European countries and in Japan.
This is the return of a legend. With its style, vintage looks and carefully selected electric parts, this classic is back in full force.
A new form of transportation has been born: the E Solex V.3.
